My name is Heather Pease. I am a Southern California native. Floral designer for 13 years by trade. Dance major in college. Born and raised in Orange County. I met my amazing husband in a bar. I was doing one of my favorite things. Probably not what you are thinking at all. I was line dancing my little tushy off, just like I did 2 or 3 other nights a week if I could manage. He was busy sitting at a table looking like his always sexy self. Dirty from work, beer in hand, with his cool guy poker face on. Lets just say I was intrigued. Long story short I soon met his family, and we were living together. I am sure not at all what you might already have pictured. Not a cute apartment, not a house, but a fifth wheel travel trailer is where I would now reside. My husband is a Power Lineman. Turning the lights on wherever he goes. That meant trailer living at its finest. They don't call em High class Line trash for no darn good reason! Boy was it an adjustment. I went from Being a "stuff" person to being a " do they make that collapsible?" person. Then we were married. Oh happy day...all I can say is I am glad it is done and over. Beautiful as it was, weddings are so stressful.
Our family ( my new in laws, my brother in law, and ourselves) were looking for the right place to move to and call home. To live freely, possibly self sufficiently, have plentiful hunting and space to grow a family and food. A peaceful, smog free, wholesome place to spend the rest of our lives. So here we are, in the beautiful state of Missouri. With our closest neighbors about a mile away and the closest big town a half hour away, it is about as close to perfection for us as we could have found.
I am now writing to share it all with you and let you in on what I consider a little piece of paradise.
